My Story

Hi, I’m Malini Amaladoss—a published author, software engineer, proud immigrant who has called the United States home for over 30 years, and, above all, a mother and a fiercely devoted wife.

Life has taken me through many roles, but none as unexpectedly defining as becoming the spouse of a stroke survivor. When my husband suffered a stroke, we trusted the healthcare system to act swiftly. Instead, we faced devastating delays in the emergency room—delays that changed our lives forever. What followed was not just a medical journey, but a battle for accountability, healing, and justice.

Through it all, I have become an unwavering advocate—not just for my husband, but for every family struggling to navigate a broken healthcare system. I share my story here to give voice to those who feel unheard, to offer hope when the road seems impossible, and to remind others that you are not alone.
